As we all know that giving our last respect to our diseased ones it is obligatory for us as Muslims, for this reason do help especially to the less fortunate ones. death is something that comes at any time and to anyone unannounced and this being the case, we ensure that the rights of the diseased ones are observed at all times, May Allah grant us a happy ending.
A Masjid is the heart and soul of the Muslim community. We aim to establish a hub for Islamic education and a spiritual center point for the community. We aim to establish a new masjid for the sake of Allah, a center point for many of our spiritual and community programs.
We aim to help and uplift the disadvantaged. We are committed to delivering Zakat to those who are eligible and need it the most. Zakah it is an act of worship ordered upon us by our Creator to help ease our fellow brother and sisters in South Africa.
All of our students are been kept at our hostels free of charge and we provide them 3 main daily meals, we send the to one of the trusted private Islamic schools in the Western Cape Town and there are fully sponsored until they finish their high school (Grade 12), thereafter we sponsor them to further their studies locally and international.
Boys & Girls Hostels
It is our mission is to develop youth through holistic education, training and capacity building programs that will empower them with the skills and aptitude to be dynamic leaders in their communities in the future. To date we have 72 students living at our hostels (40 being from the boys and 32 being girls) Alhamdulillah. The girls Hostel was born through the hard work of the Mashaikh in the Dawah field. These learners come from various parts of the provinces of South Africa. We have students coming from Gauteng, Free State, Rustenburg, Durban as well from Gugulethu, Old Crossroads and Khayelitsha. Some of these students are orphans, others are raised by a single parent and others from dysfunctional homes.
On Eid al-Adha yearly we prepare Qurabani where sheep and cows are slaughtered. We also invite our new brothers and sisters to perform Eid Salaah with us and they also get to witness the Qurabani. This meat is cut and distributed to the less fortunate communities such as Manenberg, Mitchell's Plain, Old Crossroads, Gugulethu and Delft. We have an estimate of 2000 families that we distribute to this includes Muslim and Non-Muslim.
During the month Ramadan we offer iftaar to various Masajid and Salaah Ghaana through the Cape flats area. We serve two Masjid per night which total sixty Masjid for the month. A week before Eid we provide the community with about 400 food parcels. On Eid we try to provide as many people as possible with new clothing especially the new Muslims.
